Joshua Houghton is a Certified Hypnotist, Consultant and Real Estate Investor based out of Columbus, Georgia. Joshua is currently a member in good standing with the National Guild of Hypnotists, which is one of the largest and oldest organizations in the field of hypnotism. Beside the National Guild of Hypnotists, Joshua is also a member of The Fellowship of Christian Hypnotists and is currently working on his certification with The International Hypnosis Association.

In the beginning the goal of this blog was to document Joshua’s journey to become the youngest Certified Hypnotist in Columbus, Georgia. After a few years of studying and training this goal was finally met when Joshua was awarded his certification by the National Guild of Hypnotists. Since achieving this goal Joshua decided to change the focus of this site. The new primary goal of this blog is to educate the general public and people looking to get into the field of hypnotism about the truth of hypnosis. This blog offers advice, articles, recommended courses, books and interviews from some of the top names in this profession.

The secondary goal is to allow Joshua an outlet for his thoughts, views and to document his continuing journey within the hypnotism profession. Joshua is currently working on setting up his full time practice Southern Hypnosis & Consulting. Beside the following, Joshua is also a contributing writer for The Trancedout Forums and has recently been featured in the popular 10 Question Interviews by Ellie Blunt of The Transparent Hypnotist. Joshua is also working on putting together two workshops which are “Rapid and Instant Inductions” and “Hypnosis 101: Learning the Basics”

Joshua is also involved in the real estate community and is one of the youngest real estate investors and property managers in the Columbus, Georgia area. Joshua owns and operates 2ndchancehouses.com, which is a site committed to helping people with bad credit buy a home through his unique program. Joshua currently lives in Columbus, Georgia with his wife.
