I was a little nervous because as I just mentioned I don’t do this type of thing much so I had to step out of my comfort zone, but in the end I can only get better right? I want to thank everyone that turned out for the call. It really means a lot to John and me.

So How Did The Call Go?

For the most part the call went really good. The call was supposed to only last an hour, but we ended up going for an hour and a half. We did have some audio problems during the first half of the call which was beyond our control, but the problem correctly it’s self and the second half of the call went pretty smooth I must say.

We had a great turnout with some really big names in hypnosis on the call. My good friends Larry Elman (son of Dave Elman) and his wife Cheryl Elman were both on the call. Honestly I was only expecting my readers and some of John’s, but it was a great turn out.

Beside the noise during the first half John introduced himself and gave background on his experiences, his vision for our profession and why he created the Hypnosis Business Coaching Home Study Course. As I explained before the first call was going to be more of an introduction and a inside look into how his program can help hypnotists to grow their business.

This wasn’t a pitch fest by any means, but the calls were born from helping people to understand the new program from John Weir. Once we finished the introduction we got into the real meat of the Teleseminar calls which is answering questions from John and once in a while myself.

Since time for the call was limited we could only take a few email questions, but the ones we got were really good and John provided some serious value to everyone on the call. John told listeners how to book more clients, how to build websites for free, the difference between branding and marketing and a lot more.

John Weir Answered Questioned From The Audience

After we answered some readers emails ( please submit your questions to us. Anything you want to know about building and marketing your practice and well answer it live on the call.) we moved on to questions from the people on the call. We were hoping for some questions from people, but for some reason people tend to be shy about speaking up on the call. John as well as I have experienced this before with coaching programs we have put on.

Just remember that we are doing this for you. How many times in life will you get to ask two Hypnotists who are experts at building a business and marketing anything you want to know to help you promote and market your business and practice? So don’t be shy…we don’t bite!

Only after the call ended did we find out that a few people did attempt to speak up and ask some questions, but for whatever reason they had some problems with their voice coming through. This is to be expected as technology isn’t perfect and stuff happens. I wanted to use another word for stuff, but you get the idea.

Full Time Instead of Part Time

While our profession does have a number of successful, full time Hypnotists the majority are still part time or just doing it as an hobby. The biggest compliant is that they aren’t making enough money and the simple truth is there is no reason you shouldn’t be making a high 5 or 6 figure income. I honestly believe that it’s a lack of knowledge on how to get started and where to go.

Hypnosis trainers teach the latest techniques, but rarely teach you how to get people into your office so you can use those techniques. This is a huge problem and one John Weir along with his business partner, Bob Bicknell are trying to solve.

Since I’ve started to promote the Hypnosis Business Coaching Home Study Course I’ve gotten a lot of wonderful feedback. A lot of hypnotists have come aboard and have started to help me spread the word to everyone they know about this new program. As many of you know I get tons of questions each days about Hypnosis.  These questions range from beginners to Hypnotists who have been practicing for years. Out of all the questions I receive the question I get asked more then any other one is how to do instant inductions.

You would think I would get asked how to work with certain problems or how to even hypnotize someone, but nope. The big question I get from newbies and professionals more than any other question is how to perform instant and rapid inductions. I can’t blame the people who ask this question as Instant inductions are awesome and a very powerful tool for every Hypnotist to process. Having the ability to hypnotize someone within seconds can come in really handle. Especially when dealing with clients who like to “think to much”.

I decided to post a really awesome interview that my good friend Matt Sison gave with Essex Psychotherapist Jenny Lynn on October 20th.

This is an excellent interview which touches on everything from how Matt began his career, meditation, hypnosis, E.F.T, working with feelings and emotions and a lot of great information on Regression Hypnotherapy.

In case you don’t know who Matt Sison is he’s considered one of the leading experts along with his colleague Randy Shaw in the field of Regression Hypnotherapy. Matt and Randy have been running intensive hands on bootcamps for serveral years now and have attracted people from all over the world. I’ve yet to run across anyone who hasn’t said that their time with Matt and Randy was life changing in multiple ways.

Unlike a lot of trainers that teach Regression Hypnotherapy Matt has his own unique take on the subject which is a unique blend of his own training as well as training from his teacher and mentor, Stephen Parkhill who we know from his awesome book, Answer Cancer. In addition to their live trainings Matt and Randy also have a number of great home study training programs that teach Hypnotists how to move beyond direct suggestion and utilize Regression Hypnotherapy.

Tom Nicoli: Hypnotism and Marketing Podcast

For anyone who doesn’t know I’m a big fan of podcasts. I love to learn new things and If I can combine my love of hypnosis, marketing and podcasts than I’m good to go. I was checking out some of the websites I frequent and saw that my friend and fellow NGH Hypnotist Tom Nicoli posted a few new podcast on his hypnosis podcasting site.

The podcast are basically all about Hypnotism and Marketing. After listening to all three podcast I knew I had to ask Tom if I could post a link to them so all of my readers could get the same benefit I did. These podcast are excellent and contain a huge wealth of information.

Tom was featured on the Dateline NBC Losing It! The Ultimate Diet Challenge. Tom has always been a huge influence to me during my training and is really just a nice guy overall.

As a real estate investor, marketing was huge for my business. The skills I learned have helped me in a big way when I changed my career. If you are going to be a “successful” Hypnotist you must learn how to market yourself and your practice. Let me put it a simple way. You either market or you go broke. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I am trying to shed some light on other forms of hypnosis and think of new ways to bring information to you. As some of you know I have a lot of friends in the hypnosis world and I asked a good friend of mine named Nathan Thomas to talk about something called Conversational Hypnosis, which is another method of Hypnosis I’m currently studying.

Nathan was just going to write a blog post for everyone, but together we decided a Interview may be a lot of fun and good way to get the information across. So I’m happy to present the first of many interviews to come in the future. Please understand that this is my first interview and it was done late at night. My voice may sound a little funny to everyone due to lack of water and to be honest a little nerves. I always get a little nervous when I do new things, but Nathan delievered tons of great information so it’s worth a listen.

For those of you who don’t know Nathan Thomas is a 16 year old Hypnotist who is quite popular on Youtube and runs a great hypnosis blog called Keys To The Mind.
