Hypnosis and Criminal Mind Control In 1890s France

I was checking out some other blogs that I read once in a while and I noticed the following article. I found the subject interesting since it deals with Hypnosis and it’s connection to Criminal Mind Control, which is so not true.

Read the article and you’ll see what I mean about it not being true. While I’m posting this article for all of you to see I want you to know I do it out of place of Education for this profession. It’s hard enough having people thinking that Hypnosis is Mind control when that is so far from the truth.

Yet, sometimes articles like this one remind us why it’s so important to do what we can to educate the people around us about Hypnosis.

Hypnosis has been around for a very long time and for years Hypnotists have been making claims about hypnosis. Hypnotists have made claims based upon their experiences and for years science has never been able to back up these claims, until now.

Within the last couple of years we have seen a huge growth in the fields of technology and science. It is only within these last few years that science is finally catching up to Hypnosis and to our surprise, it’s proven we were right all along with some of the claims Hypnotists in our profession have made.

More Really Cool Free Stuff From The NGH

As many of my readers know I belong to the National Guild of Hypnotists. As a member of the Guild you get access to a really great resource called the Journal of Hypnotism which is a magazine the NGH prints out every couple of months.

This Journal features articles from some of the biggest names in the profession and is just a great read overall. NGH Teleseminars: Really Cool Stuff

Every year the National Guild of Hypnotists throws a huge hypnosis convention. It’s one of the biggest and coolest events a Hypnotist can attend. The biggest names present workshops and classes and a lot more. As a way to build interest in the convention the NGH holds teleseminars with some of the presenters at the convention.
