I have been reading his book (manual) for the last couple of days and I am loving it. I started the CD’s a while back but for some reason got a little bored with them.

Fortunately I have been extra motivated the last couple of days and dove back into this course. I think I have my eye on the prize (results) and that is what rekindled my motivation.

That and your email which explained how mixing this course with the direct style got my motivation going again. Your right besides the sales page which we all hate it is pretty condensed. I will be studying this the entire summer!

Its interesting…i also initially got turned off by the marketing page as i also have no intetion of controlling people…but have a sincere desire to assist people.Maybe it is a trick to get these type of people to buy the course then subconciously be transformed into better people??
I was referred to his page by a friend and after watching the videos and some reading i did my first hypnosis session and sucessfully helped a person with a sleeping problem. I was so happy that i have decided to do his course……Covert mind controll and stuff like that…who needs it….not makeing the world a better place YUK…More sunshine and happiness pls…hehehehe

Hey Hoppy,

Thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts. You brought up an interesting point which I never really thought of and you are completely right. My thoughts are that when he is talking about Milton Erickson’s techniques he is just referring to much of the stuff that is taught today by other Ericksonian Hypnosis. As with most sales copy he is just using words and phases that more then likely will get a response out of people. In my opinion the course starts off with a very simple board view of Erickson teachings, but as the course goes on he tends to cover a lot of the earlier methods and ideas of Erickson more then the later teachings. Keep in mind that this is Igor’s take on the subject so it won’t be 100 percent in line with Erickson’s methods.

As I mentioned I had my doubts about the course, but it made a believer out of me after going through it. It’s the not the first time a leap of faith lead me to making a good decision, but on the other hand I’ve had a few leaps of faiths that had me saying “Ouch” afterward. Thanks for the comment.

One problem I had other than the MC sales pitch is him saying he is teaching Milton Erickson’s technique. Everywhere I have looked says Erickson could not teach his methods directly because he had internalized them as he learned them. Also, which Erickson is he teaching?, because early Erickson is much more conventional than his later methods and ideas.

This is really original review of “Conversational Hypnosis”. Conversational hypnosis course is one of my favorites. You are right Joshua. I’ve bought so much “covert hypnosis” and “conversational hypnosis programs” on the net, but when read it, there is nothing more than the fundamentals of hypnosis and some hypnosis inductions inside them.

It is not secret that, most people want to take unfair advantages over others or achieve something an easy way, so when someone creates covert hypnosis program and writes attractive sales copy, people believe these programs which don’t even deliver 10% of promises made on the website.
