Over the years, I have had the tremendous honor of certifying new hypnotists from around the country. Once the course is over, the most common question that I get from students is how do I get started without an office space?

I am sure this is a question that many new hypnotists have, and possibly established ones too, so I thought I would share an idea to help everyone get started in this business.

It is possible to create a profitable hypnosis business without having an office space or working with clients out of your home. In fact, operating your business from a virtual office is an excellent way to keep your costs down, help others, and still grow a big business. Here is what I suggest implementing if you want to operate your business like this.

One of the most profitable ways to grow your hypnotherapy business and help a lot of people in the process is through group hypnosis. Now I understand that many people have a fear of public speaking and have no intention of getting before large groups of people, and that is ok. What I am suggesting is not doing large groups but conducting private hypnosis house parties at the homes of your clients.

There are many businesses like Pampered Chef and Mary Kay that operate their business out of other people’s houses and this method has produced a huge number of people that have created financial prosperity doing this. Hypnosis house parties can produce the same type of success for you. Here are the steps to make this happen.

Step one is to contact all your friends, family, and potential clients, and inform them that you are now conducting hypnosis house parties to help people create success. Step two is to get the interested people working for you to help the groups grow.

To do this, let the interested person know that if they are willing to host the party and can find 5 or more people to sign up then they can get their session(s) for free. Step three is to go to the host’s house and conduct the session(s). Step four is to ask all in attendance for a list of names and contact information of people who they think would be interested in this type of party.

There are so many benefits to implementing this into your business plan. First of all, it eliminates the expenses that come with an office space. Second, it eliminates strangers from coming to your house for sessions. Third, group sessions like this increase your earning potential for your time. Fourth, when you get an interested host, it is like getting a free salesperson for your business.

They do all the work spreading the word about the group and getting people there. This is worth its weight in gold because it gets people to learn about you with no effort on your part. Finally, after you do the group, you can build a new lead list by asking the clients for referrals.

Here are a couple of other side notes. The best house parties are the ones that have mass appeal. Consider doing hypnosis house parties for weight management, stress reduction, success/abundance, and past life regression. In my opinion, weight management and past life regression parties are the best because you can make them multi-session programs.

Also, be sure to get the investment for the sessions in advance to eliminate the possibility of showing up for the session and not having your minimum number there.
